The final verdict...

Firstly, I shall be the bigger person and congratulate London for its successful bid to the IOC members to host the 2012 Olympic Games. But that doesn’t necessary mean that I acknowledge or endorse London’s victory. In my heart there can only be 1 city and that’s PARIS. My heart goes out to Paris as I know the feeling of being ‘ganged up’ against. I am by no means suggesting that London might have won due to their connections with the other host cities and prominent IOC members, but I am just stating that if all things were equal and transparent where everyone starts from an equal level playing field, I am sure and confident that Paris would have taken home the pot of gold. But when is life ever fair? It always seem that the people with connections always get far in life, but there is absolutely no pride and nothing to boast of as its not based on one’s true powers and abilities. After all that is said and done, London is going to host the 2012 games and despite all my disappointment and misgivings, I am still going to wish them luck for I think they are going to need a lot of that for the years ahead…
