If Only...

I have been fantasizing…

The image was so very vivid…explicit to be exact!

I can’t imagine myself doing this

This is wrong, extremely not appropriate.

But why do I keep entertaining this thought?

Maybe… if only there lies a possibility

That the other party thinks the same way as I

If only I can read people’s mind

And not be kept in this state of mind

If only?

What I can do now is to fantasize

And hope for the day the other party come to realise

That this whole dream is not a fantasy

But something that has always been a reality.

What if this whole fantasy

Was nothing but a lie, by now I can only sigh?

I got better things to do than fantasize

As I know fantasies are far from the truth.

For the truth is painful yet forever binding

More importantly the truth will always set us free.
