Hillsongs conference

I don’t know where to start and what to write. The holidays have been such a blast. If not for that stupid winter school, I will be in Melbourne now sipping orange juice and chilling at my friend’s mansion. But I have learnt 1 thing and that is be grateful for all God has done and I am extremely thankful to be offered a place for corporate finance, hell knows how lucky I am to be there. Hill songs Conference has been such a blast, I really didn’t want it to end. Even though I was busy volunteering, the Lord has spoken to me from time to time again during the conference. I am humbled and inspired. The anointing and worship service is the best party of the year. I have been to not a lot of parties but still the party yesterday was simply indescribable. The best part was when the leaders anointed us with the holy oil and the words administered to me by the leader simply melted me and I broke down sobbing because I knew how imperfect I was and how God loves me.

From time to time again, the Lord has been so merciful to me. No man on this entire planet can love me more than him. This conference has also been a time of catching up with some of the key leaders of FCBC, my church back home. I really enjoyed talking and interacting with Pastor Eugene and Pastor Roland. While praying for me, Pastor Eugene released a vision which said that God will roll out a red carpet for me and that he doesn’t know exactly what that was but there will be struggles along the way, but if I press on he will be faithful and bless me. And that God loves me a lot. Wow, this is not the first time that this vision has been rolled out, I pray that God will grant me a new lever of understanding of what this means and how to interpret the vision.

Lastly for the good news that I want to share with everyone. I have been offered a summer clerkship programme with DREW AND NAPIER LLC. This is the top tier law firm in Singapore and apparently they only select 2 students for this programme every year. I have been selected to be attached to the business, securities and finance legal department which was the department I asked for. I am so thankful because this is really the best time for me to network and meet someone I admire, Davinder Singh (Singapore’s top criminal lawyer). Oh well if only I will bump into him in the law firm, but still, to God be all glory. I think I better start on the acceptance letter before someone ‘steals’ my place…. Take care yo!
